San Francisco 49ers’ Ahmad Brooks back at practice
San Francisco 49ers’ linebacker Ahmad Brooks has been battling what the team is calling a “severe cold.”
The cold caused him to miss practice Wednesday.
According to ESPN’s Bill Williamson, Brooks was back at practice Thursday.
"Fighting a “severe head cold” that kept him from practicing Wednesday, Brooks went through the 49ers’ walk-through practice Thursday morning and was on the field for practice Thursday. Brooks said he’s been dealing with the illness for a few days.He was dressed for inclement weather, including a head wrap that covered his month. He was wearing layers and gloves to help him sweat.“I’m feeling all right,” Brooks said between workouts. “Just got a head cold, a severe cold. I’m trying to sweat it out as much as possible and get ready for the game.”"
Brooks is obviously a huge part of the 49ers’ success and another big season with 60 tackles, 8.5 sacks an an interception.
He’s taken his game to another level in the postseason, recording 4.5 sacks in two games.
