The San Francisco 49ers seemed to be in control of the NFC Championship game early on but the Seattle Seahawks fought their way back into the game. They eventually took the lead early in the fourth quarter putting the pressure back on the 49ers.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick had been making huge plays with his feet earlier in the game but he might have made a costly one late in the game with his arm. Kaepernick threw a pass on an out route by Anquan Boldin and safety Kam Chancellor was there to pick it off.

That led to a Seahawks field goal to extend their lead to 23-17.
