The Chicago Bulls are currently 19-20 and trying to salvage as much of this season as they can. The team has already made two trades that dumped salary overboard, but that hasn’t stopped them from trying to compete for a playoff spot this season.

The trade talks aren’t done though as two of the players still on the roster have been subjected to trade rumors recently. One of those players in point guard Kirk Hinrich, who spoke with K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune and stated he’d like to finish this current season with the Bulls.

With the Bulls trading away Marquis Teague this weekend, the likelihood that Hinrich stays for the rest of the season has increased. His salary is something to question though, as the Bulls are shedding money like crazy, and the fact that his contract is up at the end of the season doesn’t help him either.

This is Hinrich’s second stint with the Bulls and recently he’s been hearing that it might end the same way his first stint ended — with a trade. The main team he was rumored to be heading to was Golden State, and they’ve since acquired help at guard, which again bodes well for Hinrich’s chances of statin in Chicago.

Still, he’s a name to watch and if he’s traded, it wouldn’t bet he first time Chicago moved him to free up salary.
