2014 Pro Bowl Draft results: Guards selected

As the 2014 Pro Bowl draft rolled on, Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders turned their attention to the interior offensive line to select the top guards in the league.

Team Rice got to choose the first selection among the guards and it was New Orleans Saints guard Jahri Evans who was the top pick. Evans will be responsible for protecting his quarterback, Drew Brees. Team Rice also got Brees’ other offensive guard, Ben Grubbs.

Team Sanders picked up Marshal Yanda of the Baltimore Ravens with their first pick, and finished off with Chicago Bears rookie Kyle Long.

Team Sanders: 

  • Marshal Yanda, guard, Baltimore Ravens
  • Logan Mankins, guard, New England Patriots
  • Kyle Long, guard, Chicago Bears

Team Rice: 

  • Jahri Evans, guard, New Orleans Saints
  • Ben Grubbs, guard, New Orleans Saints
  • Evan Mathis, guard, Philadelphia Eagles
