It was Media Day today for Super Bowl XLVIII and the main attraction was Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, but he didn’t provide any bulletin-board material or inflammatory comments, but defensive tackle Tony McDaniel may have when he said Peyton Manning has ‘happy feet.’

"“When the quarterback makes his reads, he’s got one, two, three,” McDaniel said. “And if (Manning) don’t see them guys open, he’ll start dancing and getting real antsy and just throw the ball.”"

This isn’t the first time someone has said Manning has happy feet and in fact it was one of his perceived weaknesses when he left the Tennessee Volunteers, but 491 touchdowns and nearly 65,000 passing yards later his happy feet haven’t been much of a hindrance.

Manning is in consideration to be recognized as the best quarterback to ever play in the NFL if the Denver Broncos are able to knock off the Seahawks on Feb. 2, and if Manning and the Broncos are victorious we may see some happy feet from Manning as he hoists the Lombardi trophy.

McDaniel, is in his eighth season out of Tennessee, but apparently missed the memo about not poking the bear days before the biggest game of his life.
