NFL Rumors: Michael Vick wants to be a starting QB in 2014
By Josh Hill
When Michael Vick came roaring back in the 2010 season to completely revive his career, many believed that the quarterback had returned to form. As it turned out, the season was a bit of a fluke as Vick’s next two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles fizzled fast and he saw himself replaced in 2013 by Nick Foles.
Vick is now going be moving on to the third team in his career and when he gets there, wherever it may be, he very badly wants to start.
Vick very well could find a team that would start him but he’d have to earn it first. No matter where he goes, Vick won’y be named the starter outright and he’ll likely battle much younger players for the job. There are situations where he could start, like if he lands with the Vikings or another team looking to develop a rookie.
Either way, it doesn’t appear that Vick’s tank is empty yet, and if it is he’s refusing to believe it.
