Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson doesn’t fit the prototypical mold of an NFL quarterback. He is looking to change that perspective and leave a lasting impact on the NFL.

“I want to change the game because, if you think about it, there’s a difference between being good and being great and changing the game,” Wilson said, via Pro Football Talk. “I think guys like Peyton Manning have changed the game in terms of the way he thinks, in terms of the way he processes things. You see that about him. Tom Brady is the same way. He’s so clutch, people fear him when he steps on the field. Drew Brees is a guy like that. And one day I want to evolve to that. It’s a daily process. You respect the journey, you respect the process. I’m just growing one day at a time and to be here in the second year is a good thing. I just have to keep going.”
