The Seattle Seahawks had everything go their way on Sunday night, as they ran past the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium. Seattle was never in jeopardy of losing the game after holding the Denver Broncos offense scoreless for 44 minutes and 59 seconds, but there was some bad news in the final quarter of the game.

With the win well within their reach, the Seahawks watched star cornerback Richard Sherman make a play to break up a pass to Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas before getting hit by teammate Earl Thomas and getting injured.

Sherman was helped off of the field before limping his way onto the cart and being carted back into the locker room.

Sherman has been diagnosed with a right ankle injury and is listed as doubtful to return.
