Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is known for his love of Skittles, so it was no surprise when Skittles announced last week that they would officially be endorsing Lynch and creating a special edition “Seattle Mix” of Skittles that would be handed out during Super Bowl week and auctioned off for charity.

The auction, which was held on Saturday night, included a Skittles-covered football, helmet and mega phone. Each came with 24 packs of limited-edition Skittles Seattle Mix, in honor of Marshawn Lynch’s No. 24.

When it was all said and done, the auction raised $13,400 for Marshawn Lynch’s charity, the Fam 1st Family Foundation.

“We are happy to share our Skittles Seattle Mix auction generated $13,400. 100% of proceeds will benefit Marshawn Lynch’s charity, the Fam 1stFamily foundation,” Skittles said in a statement. “Big thanks to Seattle fans for their incredible support.”

In addition to the charity auction, Skittles will donate $10,000 to the Fam 1st Family Foundation for every touchdown Lynch scores during Super Bowl XLVIII.
