Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor was able to make a big play for the Seattle defense by intercepting Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. The turnover led to points for the Seahawks, but Chancellor wasn’t riding high for long.

Since the Seahawks use some starters on special teams, Chancellor was on the kickoff coverage unit. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury while he was attempting to tackle Broncos kick returner Trindon Holliday.

The good news is that Chancellor was able to walk off of the field under his own power, but no information on the injury was made available, however it did appear to be to his lower back.

The Seahawks cannot afford to lose Chancellor for the entire game, so hopefully they will receive some positive news on his status soon.
