The Detroit Pistons have been less than fabulous in 2014 so far and that is something that has frustrated fans beyond belief. With a roster of talent that should be producing wins, the team is sinking lower and lower in the Eastern Conference and changes are on the horizon.

One of the ways that things can be changed up is by making a big trade to correct the roster, but the route the Pistons chose was one that saw them fire head coach Maurice Cheeks on Sunday morning.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons have fired Cheeks after failing to get the roster meshing in Detroit, among other failures.

The Pistons may still make trades to mix up the roster, but the talent seems to be in the Motor City already. The only problem has been the failure to get everything and everyone working on the same page and that has apparently fallen on the shoulder of Cheeks.

Fans may now be wondering if Joe Dumars is next to be fired, as changes coming to Detroit seem to be happening in a big way.
