New York Knicks’ forward Carmelo Anthony is at the center of rumors.

Although the Knicks won’t trade Anthony before Thursday’s trade deadline, his future is in doubt.

Anthony can opt to become a free agent after the season and almost certainly will because is the right move financially (and he should at least look around or attempt to recruit other players).

One prominent Knicks’ player doesn’t think he’s going anywhere.

“The one thing that I know is he is locked [in], and he is a Knick,” Knicks’ center Tyson Chandler said via Moke Hamilton of Basketball Insiders. “He showed that. When times were rough, he went out of his way to make sure that every guy was okay and that everyone understood we’re in it together. If we’re going to sink or go down, we’re going to go down together. At the end of the day, we’re going fight together and I appreciate that.”

Signs seemingly point to Anthony opting out and resigning in New York, but nothing is certain.
