Although Raymond Felton was arrested on gun charges, he will continue to play in games and does not believe he will be a distraction.

Knicks’ head coach Mike Woodson has shown his support for Felton and says there are no plants to sit Felton and that he will continue to play.

“Not at all,” Woodson told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York. “I haven’t read the paper today to know what’s actually been said, but that was never an issue in terms of Ray coming back. We were just trying to get him back with the team and around people that love him and try to get him back on track and get him ready to play him tomorrow.”

Felton and the Knicks have traveled to Miami and he will start when the Heat host the Knicks Thursday night.

“I spoke to him last night,” Woodson said. “And I think he’s committed and focused. I thought today when he came in he was on board in terms of what we were trying to get accomplished in practice today. So I think that’s not going to be an issue. I’ve just got to get him ready to go for tomorrow. We’ve got a big game in Miami.”
