NFL rumors: Titans gauging trade interest for Chris Johnson

The writing has been on the wall all season long that the Tennessee Titans and running back Chris Johnson will likely part ways during the offseason. While we have yet to see an official decision be made, it appears that Tennessee plans to look at all options before making their next move.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean, the Titans are gauging trade interest for Johnson.

You can’t blame Tennessee for considering a trade, but they are unlikely to find a partner thanks to Johnson’s ridiculous salary and declining play.

When it is all said and done, Johnson will likely be designated as a post June 1 cut.
