Now that the Minnesota Vikings and defensive end Jared Allen are set to part ways, Allen is an unrestricted free agent and will test the market for the first time in his career.

Allen has posted at least 7.5 sacks in every season he’s played in the NFL and has had double digit sacks in eight of his 10 seasons, so he will have plenty of suitors.

According to Chris Tomasson of The St. Paul Pioneer Press, Allen is expected to end up with the Denver Broncos.

Last season, Allen had 52 tackles, 11.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Allen, who spent his first four years with the Kansas City Chiefs before joining the Vikings in 2008, has 128.5 sacks in his career.
