Giants re-sign Peyton Hillis to two-year, $1.8 million deal

After being signed last season as a free agent off of the street, running back Peyton Hillis was able to do enough to convince the New York Giants he was worthy of another crack at getting the ball in his hands.

On Tuesday morning before the official start of free agency, the Giants locked up Hillis to a two-year, $1.8 million deal.

While the running back market is generally slow, signing a reliable rusher like Hillis without any financial risk is an easy deal to make.
