The Oakland Raiders have signed two-time Super Bowl champion and former New york Giants defensive end Justin Tuck to a two-year deal worth $11 million dollars, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Tuck brings a veteran presence to the defense and will help to offset the loss of Lamarr Houston who signed with the Chicago Bears on the first day of free agency.

The former third round pick out of Notre Dame is coming off an 11-sack season and 63 combined tackles while appearing in 16 games and making 15 starts.

Tuck turns 31 later this month so the Raiders two-year commitment is a nice length as they protect themselves in the event that his production reverts back to what he showed the previous two seasons when he combined to record nine sacks while missing time with injuries.
