NFL Rumors: Letroy Guion to visit Green Bay Packers
When the Minnesota Vikings decided to part ways with Letroy Guion and release the veteran defensive tackle, he was expected to have several suitors.
An initial report from Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, said the Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots were expected to show interest.
Guion has already been in New England to see the Patriots and Tomasson expected him to head to Green Bay to see the Packers over the weekend.
According to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun and the National Football Post, Guion will in fact be in Wisconsin on Sunday.
The Minnesota Vikings selected Guion with the 152nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft and has played for the Vikings ever since.
After a slow rookie season, Guion became a contributor in 2009.
Guion appeared in 13 games, making 21 tackles and 1.0 sacks last season.
