On Saturday, the New England Patriots re-signed veteran wide receiver Julian Edelman, a move they had to make considering their severe lack of experience and depth at the position.
With Edelman in the fold last season, Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady still struggled to one of his worst seasons because of a lack of weapons.
With the injury concerns that tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola have, the Patriots likely need to make more additions.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Patriots are in fact looking to add another wide receiver.
Even though the #Patriots agreed to terms with Julian Edelman today, expect them to seek out one more free agent WR on the market.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders could be an option – the Patriots signed him to an offer sheet the Steelers matched last year.
