2014 NFL free agency: Saints, Jets showing interest in Sidney Rice

Since the NFL free agency period kicked off last week, veteran wide receiver Sidney Rice has been searching for his new home. While Rice continues to wait for a new deal, he appears to at least have a fan base that consists of the Ryan brothers.

According to reports, the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints are among the teams who have expressed interest in signing Rice to a deal.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network passed along the news.

Both teams would benefit from adding a big bodied receiver on the outside, especially the Jets who lack any true receiving talent on their roster.

It will be interesting to see whether either of the teams can agree to a deal.
