The NFL world was rocked on Monday with news that Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested early in the morning and he is now facing four counts of felony drug possession as a result after police found Schedule IV prescription drugs in the vehicle.

Many fans and media members were shocked to hear the report about the Colts owner who had reportedly been clean for over a decade, but those at the top of the Colts organization may not be as surprised.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, people in the Colts organization were growing concerned with Irsay’s recent behavior.

“There are people around the Colts organization who have been suspicious about some of his behavior,” Schefter said during an appearance Monday morning on SportsCenter.

Irsay, who previously battled addiction to prescription drugs, will now face discipline from the league office as more details become available.
