It has become clear that Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has not yet conquered his past addiction to prescription drugs, and it appears that he was beginning a spiral out of control that led up to Monday morning’s arrest for driving while impaired and possession four controlled substances.

According to the the Indianaolis Star, a rouse close to Irsay said that the owner was a “sick, sick man” that “desperately needs help.

Irsay has reportedly recently lost 70 pounds and he is now potentially in more danger with Monday’s arrest being a call for help.

With four felony drug charges in front of him and a very trouble time, let’s hope that Irsay is able to find the help that he needs to get past his illness. His road to recovery will likely begin with some treatment that is forced upon him from the league for violating their substance abuse policy.
