Former first-round pick Mike Jenkins is still searching for a new home in free agency, and the latest team that will bring him in for a meeting is the Arizona Cardinals. The visit comes as no surprise after the Cardinals surfaced as one of the first teams interested in the free agent cornerback, but it will be interesting to see if the two sides can make a deal happen.
The visit comes one day after Jenkins visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jenkins is not viewed as a starting cornerback at this stage in his career, but he brings plenty of starting experience and would be able to boost any secondary as a No. 3 guy. Arizona needs some depth behind star Patrick Peterson.
Jenkins could provide just that.
