The Cleveland Browns cut quarterback Brandon Weeden and he was scooped up by the Dallas Cowboys. Weeden said he had a chip on his shoulder and is ready to prove himself after a lackluster start to his career with the Browns.

“Absolutley,” Weeden said, via the Dallas Morning News. “I’m one of the most competitive guys you’ll meet. I don’t like not playing well. I don’t like losing. I hate it. I’ve never really been in a situation in any sport where I lost games and had the struggles that I had the last two years, so absolutely I have a chip on my shoulder.

“I feel like I have something to prove. That’s kind of the way that I go about it, starting now, even in the off-season, leading up to camp. I need to come out and kind of revive myself and get back to slinging the football around and playing with that confidence that I did back in college.”
