Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles had his pro day on Wednesday. By all means it was an impressive pro day as well.

“I thought it was a really good workout,” draft analyst for the NFL Network and NFL.com Mike Mayock said, via the Houston Chronicle. “He showed the big arm, as advertised.”

“I thought they did a good job showcasing him. You don’t ever want to read too much or too little into a pro day. I want to see a quarterback a lot. For me, it just crosses off a box.

“His movement skills were good. He threw on the run to his left. He threw the deep ball and the intermediate ball. He threw the deep outs, and that’s indicative of a strong-armed quarterback.”

Did he do enough to go No. 1 overall, who knows, but Bortles would take himself with the pick.

“I wish it was up for me to decide. I’d take me,” Bortles told USA TODAY Sports. “But it’s no telling.”
