NFL Draft 2014: Derek Carr fights through flu at Pro Day workout

NFL hopeful Derek Carr had a rough pro day and was hospitalized for treatment. Despite all that, Carr went through his pro day.

Fresno QB Derek Carr vomited last night and went to the hospital for treatment and IVs, per source. But plans to go thru w pro day in full.

“There were a couple of times my stomach was very tight, knotted up, but I had to take the game-day mindset and stay totally focused on the task at hand,” Derek Carr said, via the Associated Press.
Carr added that he only threw up once and despite all that still had an impressive pro day. He completed 56 of 63 passes saying that only one was off.
“Every ball except one hit exactly where we wanted to,” Carr said. “The fact that one of them was a foot off, that’s a pretty good day. Any Sunday, I’ll take that, absolutely.”
