The New England Patriots are still looking for more wide receivers to counter the arms race their in with the Denver Broncos, and free agent wide receiver Kenny Britt may be one of the answers. While he met with the team last week, no contract was offered to Britt — at least not publicly — and the receiver remains out of a job.

He’s had a flurry of interest though,  from the Patriots, Panthers and Rams to a visit with the Bills on Friday. Britt may have his eyes set on new England though, as according to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, Britt’s meetings with the Patriots went better than expected.

"“It was actually better than I thought it was,” Britt told Rodak of his stop in New England. “A lot of guys, a lot of people out there that don’t know or been on the inside or think it’s strict and things like that, but it’s laid back when I got there. They got good people there. I actually worked out for them. The workout went great. I had a good time.”"

they only went so well though, as Britt nevertheless left Foxborough without a contract in hand. That doesn’t mean he won’t return for another one though, as there seems to be an interest fem Britt in playing for the Patriots and New England is in no position to turn away talent.
