Ryan Clark is an example of the type of free agent market that exists this offseason as he’s one of many veteran players who have had to wait eons to find deals you’d think they would have no problem finding. But the likes of Jared Allen, Maurice Jones-Drew and Ryan Clark have waited weeks t find deals and now all three may have found new jobs in the same week.

With Allen signing with the Chicago Bears and Jones-Drew heading west to Oakland, Aaron Wilson from The National Football Post is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks have made contact with Clark and may en up signing him to a deal.

Per The National Football Post:

"Former Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Ryan Clark visited the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league source. He wasn’t immediately signed to a contract."

This isn’t the first time that Seattle has flirted with a veteran defensive player, and the last time it happened said player signed elsewhere. But while Jared Allen signed with the Bears after meeting with the Seahawks, it’s possible that Clark goes the opposite direction and takes a job on the best defense in the NFL.
