Free-agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson was scheduled to leave Washington on Tuesday night after spending the better part of the last two days with the Redskins, hoping to maybe strike a deal. While that deal was not struck, in what could end up being some good news for the Redskins, Jackson never got on the plane that he was scheduled to leave on, and will be staying for one more night.

This has been so back-and-forth to this point, that you can’t even tell which way is which anymore. Late Monday night, the two sides reportedly had everything set, and a physical was basically all that needed to be completed. Then, on Tuesday, there were reports that the two hadn’t even talked contract.

Still, though, barring any sort of issues with that plane, Jackson staying in Washington for at least one more evening has to give the ‘Skins just a little more hope.
