NFL Rumors: Johnny Manziel to visit New England Patriots Wednesday

With his Pro Day now out of the way, it’s time for Johnny Manziel to make some visits to give some teams a chance to get to know him better, and on Wednesday, he’s going to take certainly his most interesting visit of all as he’s set to visit Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.

Now this certainly is an interesting turn of events in the race to land Manziel. After how successful he was at his Pro Day, it’s expected that he’s now definitely going to be taken within the top 10, but you never know with Belichick and company, who are the kings at making moves in the draft.

The Patriots don’t have an immediate need at quarterback in regards to the starting position, but with Ryan Mallett expected to be out of the organization some time soon, Belichick could be looking to groom Manziel into his next back up to Tom Brady.
