The Chicago Bulls have managed to bounce back this season from what was looking like a lost year, but it may not be enough to convince everyone that Gar Forman is the man for the Bulls front office. While he’s made some impressive moves like drafting Jimmy Butler and acquiring multiple first-round picks, but he’s also been behind some moves that have drawn the ire of both fans and coaches alike.

Trading Luol Deng, handing Carlos Boozer an obscene contract and breaking up the Bench Mob are all moves that have cost Forman the love of fans and Steve Kyler from Basketball Insiders notes that it could cost him his job.

Per Basketball Insiders:

"The tandem of Gar Forman and John Paxson have made some solid moves not only in the draft but in locking in core players early, while finding solid value contributors in free agency. If the Bulls can’t sort through things this summer, there is a scenario in which ownership may have to choose between the front office team that’s in place and their head coach."

The Bulls could very well hand things over to John Paxson and not have to go outside the team to find a new GM, and it may end up that they don’t look anywhere and just keep Forman. It’s tough to read the situation but the Bulls are winning and that bodes well for Forman’s chances of staying in Chicago.
