Although the Buffalo Bills have boasted an excellent, though oft-injured, backfield over the last few seasons in the explosive C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, they are always looking to add depth to the position.

The Bills want to get as many play makers as possible around second year quarterback E.J. Manuel (or maybe even former Duke Blue Devils’ signal caller Thaddeus Lewis, who showed flashes for the Bills while Manuel was injured last season).

Hyde was fantastic for the Buckeyes last season. Despite running into some trouble before the season began, Hyde rushed for 1,521 yards and 15 touchdowns on 208 carries while catching another 16 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns.

This marks the fourth running back the Bills have brought in for a visit. Hyde joins Jeremy Hill of the LSU Tigers, Lache Seastrunk of the Baylor Bears and Terrance Cobb of the Cumberlands College Patriots.
