Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is one of the more interesting players entering the 2014 NFL Draft in May. Some consider him amongst the top three quarterbacks in the draft, some think the Houston Texans might take a look at him with the No. 1 overall draft pick. Others are less sold on Manziel, turned away by his size, reckless play and off-field incidents.

Analysts everywhere are weighing in with their opinions and ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter offered up his opinion on Manziel in a mailbag piece.

“As for Manziel, it’s the biggest question of the draft. No one knows exactly where he will go, but here’s my sense: He’s in play anywhere from No. 3 with Jacksonville to the Rams’ second first-round pick at No. 13. Somewhere in that range I believe we’ll hear Manziel’s name called, but I truly don’t know where,” Schefter writes. “My sense is the team that picks Manziel will get a push from its owner, with the owner knowing how good Manziel has the chance to be and what a draw he would be at the gate as well.”
