The 2014 NBA Playoffs kicked off on Saturday, and now the remainders of the series’ will be beginning on Easter Sunday. Games are scattered throughout the day to give NBA fans a full day of action, with the games kicking off out in the Western Conference.

The first game on Sunday is a match up between rivals in the Lonestar State. The Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs meet in Game 1 in a series that features two of the sport’s top veterans who are in the twilight of their careers. While Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki may be getting up their in age, they are still performing at a high level and will be looking to get the early edge with hopes of advancing to the next round of the playoffs.

Miami, the back-to-back defending NBA champions, welcome the Charlotte Bobcats to South Beach to kick off their series in the second game on Sunday. After watching the Indiana Pacers get upset in Game 1, the Heat can make a statement by overwhelming the Bobcats which most people expect them to go.

Washington at Chicago serves as the first of two night games on the schedule. The Bulls are favored over the Wizards by 4.5-points, which is to be expected as Chicago rolls into the postseason as one of the hottest teams in the league.

To cap off Easter Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers travel to the Toyota Center for a meeting with the Houston Rockets.

It’s set up to be a great day around the NBA with the playoffs in full swing, so make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
