Former North Carolina Tar Heels’ quarterback Bryn Renner had a very disappointing ending to what was a good career. Renner suffered a shoulder injury that limited him to seven games in 2013 and he missed the final six of the Tar Heels’ season.

After throwing just two passes as a freshman, Renner became the Tar Heels’ starter in 2011 and was up-and-down with the good certainly outweighing the bad.

Renner hasn’t been talked about much as a pro prospect, but he did visit a team in need of a quarterback last week he tripped to talk with the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Chris Tomasson of The St. Paul Pioneer Press, Renner visited the Vikings last week.

Renner completed 152-of-231 passes for 1,765 yards with 10 touchdowns and five interceptions last season. He was 668-of-1,005 for 8,221 yards with 64 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in his career.
