Now that the Los Angeles Lakers and Mike D’Antoni have parted ways, expect to hear every name imaginable come up in the next few weeks.

On name that always comes up in connection with just about any opening is Kentucky Wildcats’ head coach John Calipari.

One report said the Lakers were going to contact Calipari about the job while another said Calipari was set to interview.

Calipari took to twitter to quickly refute the rumors.

Calipari’s Wildcats have already been instilled as the favorites to win the NCAA Championship next season.
