When the Oakland raiders traded quarterback Terrelle Pryor to the Seattle Seahawks, it looked as though Pryor would be playing somewhere other than quarterback. Almost immediately this was denied but that wasn’t without refuting reports from different reporters.

Now that some time has passed and the Pryor frenzy has died down, the Seahawks have revisited Pryor’s role with the team and remain steadfast in the idea that he’s a quarterback and nothing else — for now.

Pryor is highly talented but may not be the best option at quarterback for anyone. The Seahawks could use him as a backup behind Russell Wilson once Tavaris Jackson moves on, but they could also use hi speed and agility at another position.

What exactly that position would be is unknown as the Seahawks have a running back in Marshawn Lynch and have no need for a Percy Harvin type hybrid player, mainly because they already have Percy Harvin. Pryor moving from quarterback to a different position may still be in the cards but it’s a hand the Seahawks are not playing just yet.
