The Dallas Mavericks fighting for their playoff lives.

After blowing a fourth quarter lead in Game 1 to lose the San Antonio Spurs, they bounced back with a blowout win in Game 2 and then used an improbable Game 3 buzzer beater by Vince Carter to take a 2-1 series lead. Since then, the Spurs have taken down the Mavericks twice and the Mavericks have their backs against the walls in Game 6, needing a win to stay alive and force a winner-takes-all Game 7 Monday.

The Mavericks got off to a fantastic start, piling up 34 first quarter points to the Spurs’ 26.

Up 30-26 with 32 seconds left, the Mavericks got a jumper from Dirk Nowitzki to push the lead to six. After Patty Mills missed a jumper, DeJuan Blair grabbed the board and the Mavericks got the ball to Devin Harris. Harris raised up for three and drew a foul on Marco Belinelli. Harris wound up hitting two of the three to give the Mavericks and eight-point lead.
