The Toronto Raptors are currently playing host the Brooklyn Nets in their first round playoff series. The winner will advance to the second round and battle the two-time defending champion Miami Heat, who easily dispatched of thee Charlotte Bobcats in a clean, four-game sweep.

Although the Raptors got out to an early advantage, the Nets stormed back to take the lead in the second quarter and increased that lead to double digits in the fourth. With the Nets up 81-70 and time in the third quarter running down, the Raptors had one last ditch effort to get the lead down to single digits before the fourth quarter began. The Raptors got the ball to their leading scorer, DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan drilled a step-back three-pointer from the corner as the horn sounded to cut the lead to eight.
