Tonight starts he series we all thought we were going to get as the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets will go toe-to-toe in order to see if the Miami is for real and if Brooklyn can repeats their regular season success. It’s a showdown we wanted to see but the Nets looked painfully old in their last series against the Toronto Raptors, which is proof this series is no Heat-Celtics rematch.

On the other hand, Miami was swept by the Nets in the regular season — a factoid hard to ignore — which means until they win a game there will be those who think they are under the Nets’ finger.
