Despite Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins garnering most of the attention in the lead-up to the 2014 NFL Draft in regards to the wide receiver position, former LSU standout Odell Beckham has done a tremendous job of closing the gap and gaining some momentum of his own, so much so that the NFL Network experts believe that the New York Jets are likely to move up to grab him.

It’s been no secret that Rex Ryan and the Jets are in the market, heavily, for a wide receiver to add to the offense in the draft, and as stated earlier, Beckham is one of the best out there.

In three seasons on the field for Les Miles and the Tigers, Beckham amassed over 2,300 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, including eight of those coming last season.

But what makes Beckham so intriguing is his ability to contribute on special teams, too. He also had nearly 1,600 yards on both kick and punt returns combined with two touchdowns.
