Johnny Manziel is one of the most interesting prospects from a rock star point of view heading into the NFL Draft. He’s far from being the most sound prospect and he’s not even the best player in his draft class, but we can’t seem to get enough of Johnny Football and that’s going to cause lots of teams to reconsider their stance on him if he’s available when they go on the clock.

According to Mary Kay Cabot from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, despite rumors to the contrary it appears Johnny Manziel is still in the conversation at No. 4 overall. It has been pointed out though, that the conversation may not be the one we’re imaging and could simply be a conversation about how the Browns won’t be taking him.

Still, Manziel is going to be a wild card tonight and general managers have noted that he’s a guy they don’t want on the board because it might be too tempting to take him if he’s there. Rumors have surfaced that the Jaguars are eyeing him at No. 3 overall but there’s also rumors of the Buccaneers trading up to get him at No. 2 overall.

Regardless of who is rumored to be after him, Manziel’s name will be hotter than it’s ever been as he’s the one guy not everyone needs but will be hard to pass on because — well, Johnny Football.
