The NFL Draft is in a few hours and it seems that teams are starting to hammer out their last minute strategies to get who they want in the first round. For the Green Bay Packers, the player they may want ranges from a linebacker to a cornerback and even a safety.

Wide receiver appears to be on their list of wants and needs as well, which is something that others in the league have paid close attention too. While everyone has been caught up in the Packers drafting C.J. Mosley with their pick, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Packers may end up drafting Marqise Lee — or at least that’s the general perception around the NFL.

Mortensen made his comments on ESPN’s draft coverage broadcast and the notion that the Packers may take Lee has spread like wildfire throughout rumor circles. It’s an interesting idea as the Packers have needs on defense but also have a need for targets on offense. Aaron Rodgers can never have too many toys and it appears that while C.J. Mosley may be tempting if he’s on the board at No. 21, so too may be Lee.
