Because of the selection of QB Robert Griffin III a few years ago, the Washington Redskins, once again, did not have a pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft on Thursday night. But early on in the second round Friday, where the team picks second, they could be targeting some protection for their Griffin investment.

Kouandijo, out of Alabama, is a mountain of an offensive tackle, but he has been soured on by some organizations in the past few months due to some lingering knee injuries.

Still, when healthy, Kouandijo is one of the best out there along the offensive line, and nothing has ever been clearer than the fact that the Redskins could use the help at the position, considering how many stiff shots Griffin has taken in the pocket this early on his career.

Not to mention the fact that he would also help out with Alfred Morris and the running game as well.
