The Seattle Seahawks demonstrated with their excellent 2014 Super Bowl season how well they can draft and they continued to take prospects this year who have the potential to truly pop in the offense and add their names to the list already in Seattle of excellent draft picks.

One of the more interesting picks was former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Kevin Norwood, who was selected with the No. 123 pick overall this weekend. Norwood is a tall, lanky threat who can play the deep ball and help the Seahawks open up the field even more than they already do.

An interesting footnote to all of this is that Norwood was drafted before his quarterback A.J. McCarron, who was projected to go much higher than the fourth round but was still around when Norwood was. The Seahawks need guys like Norwood though as they may have gone offense already in this draft but continue to grab prospects that make them better on both sides of the ball.
