The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of a handful of teams to dip into the undrafted free agent pool to find some untapped talent that could help turn around their fortunes. The Buccaneers were abysmal in 2013 but things are looking bright thanks to Lovie Smith and there’s hope that the mining of the undrafted free agent pool can hop bolster a growing roster.

Here’s a look at who the Buccaneers grabbed after the draft:

  • Solomon Patton, WR, Florida
  • Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming
  • Ryne Giddins, DE, USF
  • Andrew Miller, G, Virginia Tech
  • Toney Hurd, DB, Texas A&M
  • Keith Lewis, CB, Virginia-Lynchburg
  • Mycal Swaim, S, Eastern Michigan
  • Josh Allen, C, Lousiana-Monroe
  • Dylan Lynch, K/P, Jacksonville University
  • Aaron Burks, WR, Boise State
  • Chaz Sutton, DE,  South Carolina
  • Nate Askew, LB, Texas A&M
  • Steven Jenkins, LB, Texas A&M
  • Jeremy Smith, RB, Oklahoma State
  • Matt Patchan, OL, Boston College
  • Kenarious Gates, OT, Georgia
  • Chris Burnette, G, Georgia
  • Euclid Cummings, DT, Georgia Tech

Not everyone is going to end up being signed, as some are just going to be tryouts and nothing else. But they’re all names to keep an eye on as you never know who will pop.
