NBA Draft Rumors: Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic interested in Julius Randle

Former Kentucky Wildcats power forward Julius Randle has been touted as a very highly regarded NBA prospect for some time.

Now that he has played one college season and the 2014 NBA Draft is drawing near, Randle has done nothing to change that.

That’s why a couple of teams that will be picking near the top of the draft are showing a lot of interested in Randle.

Baxter Holmes of The Boston Globe reports the Boston Celtics will soon be interviewing Randle.

The Orlando Magic have already interviewed Randle, according to Josh Robbins of The Orlando Sentinel.

Randle averaged 15.0 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for the Wildcats last season.

Both squads have also set up meetings with Indiana Hoosiers’ power forward/center Noah Vonleh.
