It is pretty clear that every team in the league would love to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves’ power forward Kevin Love, He is an elite player, maybe one of the top five and certainly one of the top 10 players in the league.

Of course, only a handful of teams could probably realistically trade for Love and even fewer could probably retain him when he becomes a free agent in 2015.

One team that may be able to put together a nice package for Love is the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bob Finan of The Morning Journal & The News-Herald looks at what kind of package the Cavaliers could offer and notes they have tried to acquire Love in the past.

"The Cavs have tried to trade for Love in the past. They’ll likely try it again this summer. No proposals have been made, but the Cavs could offer forward/center Anderson Varejao and shooting guard Dion Waiters — and possibly more — in exchange for Love.Rumors have Chicago and Golden State as possible destinations for Love. He appeared in one of Irving’s Pepsi Max Uncle Drew commercials last year and has a good relationship with the Cavs guard."

Love averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season.
