2014 NBA Draft Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks could select Dante Exum

Once the 2014 NBA Lottery came to a conclusion and the top three teams, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers, became official, nearly every pundit (and fan) believed the top three picks were set.  It is widely believed that former Kansas Jayhawks’ teammates, forward Andrew Wiggins and center Joel Embiid and Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker will be the first three players selected in some order.

In fact, most believe the top four is set because the Orlando Magic reportedly covet Australian point guard Dante Exum.

However, according to Chad Ford of ESPN.com, the Magic may not be the only team that covets Exum. Ford believes the Bucks could be a real player for Exum.

"I don’t think they have one yet. All of the top four could really help them. I know they were intrigued by Joel Embiid before he hurt his back and I still think he could be the guy if they get a look at his back. I think he and Larry Sanders could actually play together and pair those two with Giannis and you have the longest front court in the NBA. I think they love the idea of pairing Wiggins with Giannis as well. And don’t count out Dante Exum. Brandon Knight can move to the two and Exum could end up being their point guard of the future. He’s in the mix at No. 2."

Although the Bucks will likely go with another player and would not pass on Wiggins, this is certainly a situation worth keeping an eye on.
