On Saturday night, the Western Conference Finals start back up with the action shifting to the STAPLES Center. The Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks are even after two games, so Game 3 could provide a huge momentum shift in the series.
While the Blackhawks suffered a disappointing loss after collapsing in Game 2, the Kings are expecting to see them bounce back in a big way so Los Angeles is prepared for the best version of the Blackhawks that there is.
“They’re the defending Stanley Cup champions, and we’re well aware of how good a team they are, but also how they’re able to battle adversity,” Kings captain Dustin Brown said, via ESPN.com. “If we had given up six unanswered goals, we know how we would want to respond to that.”
Chicago will have their chance to rebound in Game 3, so we will see if they are able to rise up like the defending champions that they are.
